FYI, here is our FAQ:
Q: What is a RESUWRECKER?
Answer: A RESUWRECKER is someone who daily attempts to wreck the old man and resurrect the new life in the spirit (RUACH). It is someone who decides everyday to yield themselves as an instrument of righteousness.
[Rom 6:11-16 KJV] 11 Likewise reckon (wreckon !!?) ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members [as] instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Sin is as sin DOES! Only YHWH (The God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob) can define what sin is and inform us what is righteous. The salvation I have received through faith in Yeshua Ha Meshiach (Jesus the Christ) has given me grace from the perfect measure of righteousness, the Torah of YHWH. He is the Torah made flesh, lived perfectly according to Torah, died for my iniquity, and rose again on the third day to both pay my debt and reconcile me to YHWH. The gift of salvation and pardon emboldens me to approach what YHWH defines as righteous, knowing I cannot die for getting it wrong. I honor Yeshua as he asked:
[Jhn 14:15-17 KJV] 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 [Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
The Hebrew word for "God" is Elohim, a plural word. YHWH, YESHUA, and the RUACH HA Qodesh are echad (one/unified). This means that they are unified in purpose and will not contradict each other. So, a RESUWRECKER attempts to challenge what they know today and isn't afraid to "wreck" old traditions and doctrines to resurrect the pure righteousness of YHWH's Torah in mercy, to the best of their understanding as they mature.
Q: Why do you use the word YAH alot in your lyrics?
Answer: The name of "God" is all over the Hebrew scriptures. It shows up in what is called the tetragrammaton, four Hebrew letters Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey (יְהוָה)(YHWH/YHVH) H3068. It is always denoted in the English by using all capital letters, most commonly translated as L-O-R-D. The exact pronunciation is of great debate: Yahwey, Yahvey, Yahuwah, Yahavah, etc. Yet, an abbreviated version does show up throughout the scriptures. There is little debate on over how to pronounce that version (Hallelu-YA!). The first place we see it is in "The Song of Moses" in Exodus 15:2:
[Exo 15:2 KJV] 2 The LORD (YAH H3050) [is] my strength and song, and he is become my salvation (ya-shuwah H3444): he [is] my God (Elohim), and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God (Elohim), and I will exalt him.
Notice the capital LORD, except this time in the song from Moses and Mariam about redemption and salvation, the name is abbreviated! Also see this from psalm 68, a Psalm of David:
[Psa 68:4 KJV] 4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH (YAH H3050), and rejoice before him.
It even shows up in the English that way! I thought it would be a great legacy to the first song of redemption from the world and also to that of David to include it, leaving ZERO doubt of who I am signifying in the songs!
Q: I do not always understand all of the words you use, even after I read the lyrics? Are you damaged?
Answer 1: Yes.
Answer 2: I do use Hebrew words in places of significance for purposes of exhortation, edification, and challenge. You may have noticed that much of the lyrical makeup of the songs is not exactly PRAISE STYLE, this is by design. It is my hope to exhort the body of messiah through both encouragement and challenge. It is my sincere hope that the songs's lyrics would make you search the scriptures and challenge what I am saying or expressing. You may disagree, and that is absolutely awesome if you have gone to the scripture and reaffirmed your belief on scriptural proof. But if you disagree without challenging, just simply turning away because it's different....that's not as awesome. I try to provide lyrics, biblical references, insights and other info into what I am hoping to express. It should not be a penalty in the body of Meshiach to express biblical ideas (in Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, or English) because they may be outside the norm, or culturally challenging.
One should challenge every word you they from every Preacher, Pastor, Rabbi, Teacher, etc. Be Berean and search the scriptures to see if these things are true!
[Act 17:11 NIV] 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
Wither you agree with me or not is of little concern. I count the song successful if it causes anyone to turn to the word to search it! Here is why:
[Rom 3:4 NIV] 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." (read the whole chapter in full context!)
